Gartner’s fourth inclusion of Clarify Health in the past 12 months.

We are excited to share that Clarify has been cited in the 2024 Gartner® “Quick Answer: How Can U.S. Healthcare CIOs Increase Retention With Price Transparency?” Gartner recommends healthcare organizations “leverage this data to derive better patient cost estimates, create a competitive advantage, and strengthen the healthcare organization’s patient acquisition and retention position through trust and transparency.” 

The analyst firm notes that significant work is involved before getting to business insights and value with price transparency data. This includes gathering, validating, and processing the data. Clarify Health relieves organizations of the burden of downloading posted machine-readable files and cleaning, validating, and analyzing the data. More importantly, the Clarify solution assesses the completeness and quality of publicly available payer and hospital data and enriches it with claims and other data sources to make the pricing information usable. Finally, its dashboards and query capabilities allow even non-experts to see opportunities or drill into the data to answer specific questions.

The inclusion in the Gartner Quick Answer is the fourth time in the last year that Clarify Health has been recognized by Gartner and the third time Clarify has been recognized for its price transparency capabilities.  

  • Last February, Clarify was named a Representative Vendor in the Provider Network Management Applications category in the 2023 Gartner “Market Guide for U.S. Healthcare Payers’ Provider Network Management Applications” for its products Clarify Network and Clarify Rates.  
  • In April 2023, Clarify Health was cited in the 2023 Gartner “Quick Answer: U.S. Healthcare CIOs Use Price Transparency Data to Improve Business Outcomes.” 
  • Later in July, Clarify Health was mentioned in two categories in the “Gartner Hype Cycle for U.S. Healthcare Payers, 2023.” Clarify Health was included in the Price Transparency Analytics and Next-generation Value-based Payment (NGVBP) categories. Both technologies are in the “Innovation Trigger” stage of the Hype Cycle and are labeled as “High Benefit Rating.”
