Clarify Health stands with Black Lives Matter
A message from our founders:
The events of the past few weeks have shaken us. We are angry, disturbed, and sad. George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Christian Cooper. This is just the latest list that happened to be captured on video. How many more will it take?
This is not the way to treat each other or to build a safe and prosperous country.
While we may still be a relatively small company, we feel strongly that it is our responsibility to take a stand. Our mission at Clarify is not simply to improve healthcare for all. It is also to strengthen our communities and create an environment where all of our people can thrive in an environment where they feel safe, free, supported, and valued – irrespective of color, gender, religion, sexual orientation, culture, or nationality. The truth today is that many of our colleagues, friends, and fellow citizens do not enjoy this privilege.
Our first responsibility is to you, our colleagues. We are here to support you as you react, process and come to terms with recent events. We recognize this comes on top of the already challenging burden of coronavirus on your communities, and the pre-existing baseline you already had to contend with. If you need some time to yourself, or with family and loved ones, take it. If you want to join with your community in peaceful action, we will stand by you. The Clarify family is there for you.
We also feel it is important that we proactively do our part to tackle systemic racism and eradicate it. We will be rolling out a program and resources to support us in educating ourselves on how we can each do our part. We will also be making a $10,000 donation to the NAACP.
As Clarifiers, we celebrate our differences and recognize in them the foundation for our strength and success. We also support each other to be everything we dream to be.
We hope you are all staying safe.
